The region check helps you decide whether a booking fits the artist planning and any regional agreements. Use it before accepting a request, option or confirmed booking, or when a booking overview shows a regional warning that needs review.
Start by choosing whether you want to check one date or a period. For one date, ArtwinLive checks the selected day plus the number of days before and after it. For a period, it shows bookings that fall inside that period. Then select the artist, date or period, and the location you want to compare.
Days controls how far before and after the selected date the check looks. Km controls the distance within which a booking is treated as regionally relevant. These values usually come from account settings or artist settings, but you can temporarily adjust them on the region check page to review a specific situation.
The location matters: without a clear location or coordinates, ArtwinLive can still show date and exclusivity information, but it cannot calculate a reliable distance. Prefer an existing location or a temporary location that is filled in well enough for distance checking.
The results show different attention points. A date conflict means something is already planned on the same day. A region conflict means another booking falls within the configured period and distance. An exclusivity conflict means an existing booking has its own regional exclusivity settings with its own days and distance.
The map shows the target location, matching bookings and any exclusivity circles. When you enable Use driving distance, ArtwinLive uses road distance where possible instead of only straight-line distance. Circle every location draws a visible circle around each found location, which helps you judge how close bookings are to each other.
Use Hide options and requests when you only want to review confirmed bookings. Use Hide private events when private events should not influence the review. Tags narrow the result list to bookings with the selected labels.
The region check can also include linked planning scopes when artist settings make several artists or calendars block each other. That makes it useful for shared acts, exclusive rosters and situations where several artists should not be booked in the same region at the same time.
Related settings are in Account settings > Planning for the default days, distance and whether private events are included. In the artist settings you can choose whether the artist uses the account defaults, has its own values or has the region check disabled. In the booking form, Apply region exclusivity can be enabled per booking so that booking can later create exclusivity warnings for other checks.
Treat the region check as a decision aid. It shows what may conflict, but the final decision still depends on status, contract agreements, travel time, event type and what you agreed with the customer or artist.
